Peaks Island Bicycle Day Trip

8:45 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Let's make a day of it! We will plan on meeting at 8:45 a.m. at the ferry terminal There's something wonderful about riding a bike in a picturesque place! We will make several stops to enjoy the view & regroup.  Cycling on a paved 4-mile loop that is very easy to navigate we will be pedalling past beaches and dramatic oceanviews along with pretty houses. Take along a bathing suit should we decide to grab some beach time!

Pack a picnic lunch & plan on dinner before boarding our ferry back to the "Maine-land!"

Ferry ride is 17 minutes each way!

Cost: Adult - $7.70 roundtrip

           Senior - $3.85

           Bicycle rate: $6.50

Return schedule: We will plan on the 6:00 p.m. return ferry; however there are many others to choose as late as 11:55 p.m. :)

Carpooling available from the Newburyport Commuter Lot just off Route 95 (formerly C&J).  Meeting place: Casco Bay Lines @  Casco Bay Ferry Terminal - Maine State Pier in Portland. Several all day fee-based parking lots in the vicinity with varying pricing.

Helmets required.
